Reasons behind the lack of military power and lost opportunities

TODO list

1. Increase military service duration.
2. Develop in house solutions where possible. For example custom mines/ torpedo's.

Problems

1. Try to organize your defence on realistic scenarios.
2. Greek shipyards mentality: public servants mentality, low productivity, high operational costs.
3. No political consensus. Some political groups tend to cause chaos and blackmail the rest of the society if their demands are not accepted.

What could Greece produce? A list of suggestions.

1. Design and produce a robotic system to automatically deploy mortar's. Design an add on for the numerous mortars that serve in the Greek army. Make it  easy to use , more  safe  and more  cost effective .Why should we need 3 - 4 persons to operate this thing? Couldn't we load it automatically or semi - automatic? I have read that a similar concept is present in Automated Direct Indirect-fire Mortar ( ADIM ).  " The Automated Direct Indirect-fire Mortar ( ADIM ), which can be fired while mounted on a light tactical vehicle such as the HMMWV (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle) or its replacement.
